Pattern Is Movement Tour + EP

Philly’s bearded duo Pattern Is Movement is on the move, with Via Audio and a new tour-only EP in tow. In case you never gave 2008′s Hometapes release All Together a chance, now’s the time to start loving this band. With both Andrew and Chris grabbing influence from their evangelical families, passion for hip-hop and R & B, and experimental musicality, Pattern Is Movement is an ever-evolving force. Light Of The World is their tour-only EP, a handmade piece containing unreleased tracks and covers. Clevelanders can catch them live at the Beachland Tavern on March 02, the rest of the states (and a lil bit of Canada) can check for their date in your town here. Check out “Light Of The World”, available below.

New Bonnie “Prince” Billy

I happened to go to the Domino Records site on Valentines Day, just in time to sign up for a mysterious mail delivery Valentine from the UK label. What did they send me? A link to this interesting viral way of saying “Hey! Bonnie “Prince” Billy is coming out with a new album!” Thanks.

Sara Silverman Album

You might be surprised to hear me say that I have a lot of respect for Sara Silverman. Sure, she’s obscene like a trashy high school student, but her crude comedy tends to push the envelope on uncomfortable issues like same-sex marriage, religion, and bathroom behavior. I think she’s a pretty gutsy female, and that’s why I’m telling you about her new musical album The Sara Silverman Project: From Our Rears To Your Ears is out March 2nd. The album contains songs and memorable scenes from her Comedy Central show The Sara Silverman Project. If you can’t get enough Sara, you should probably follow her tweets – for life’s great wisdom’s such as “Sneezing is like wet Tourette’s”. Thank you, Sara.
