If you head to the Voxtrot website, you might notice a somewhat vague “letter” from frontman Ramesh, the gist of which is “Voxtrot isn’t a band anymore”.
I must leave again-take a risk, do something radical, but in order to do that, I need closure. This is not to say that Voxtrot will never play again, and certainly, if Voxtrot has never been to your country (or continent) we are open to ideas, but for all intents and purposes, this series of live shows will be the last.
The tour dates he’s referring to are a string of seven random shows, listed on the site here. Pretty sad news if you were a fan of the Austin five-some, who have been around since 2003, but have only released the one self-titled LP.
