Kyle O’Neill, Elliot Swauger, Devon Deblasio, Brian Macnamara, and Matt Manhire are five friends out of Philly making noise in basements across the midwest under the banner of Lavis Blake.
There isn’t much info out there yet on the melodic post punkers, who just released their first EP, but what can be found are testaments to how much fun their live shows are. O’Neill, the burnt-headed frontman, is supposed to put on a pretty entertaining spectacle while slamming some hardcore vox. With a string of shows across the rust belt with Spraynard, Lavis Blake will roar through Gordon Square and hit the stage second on Saturday.
