Rivers Cumo, his wife, baby daughter, nanny, and driver were in a fairly serious tour bus accident that lead to some broken ribs and cancelled shows. Apparently the van hit black ice and the bus crashed into a ravine, harming mostly Rivers and his wife. Although this is definitely distressing news, and I hope nothing but a speedy recovery to all involved, it made me wonder: do many bands travel in separate tour buses?
