Which is why the multi-album, Sufjan Stevens Christmas collection is my holiday go-to for merry music. To get us in the spirit, let's check out my favorite of his originals, "That Was The Worst Christmas Ever", which - as it so happens - is not too merry, after all.

05.13.09Video Watch: Bon Iver – Lump Sum (feat. high school jazz band)Ten years after graduating from Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconson, Justin Vernon (or, Bon Iver) decided it was time for a little visit. As a jazz band alumni, the bearded songsmith thought it was only fitting to invite the current members to join him on-stage to perform tracks from his album For Emma, Forever Ago. The video quality isn't stellar, but check out the footage from the event with this track "Lump Sum".
